Drywall Repair / Plaster Repair

Most repairs are a drywall product, especially in homes built in the 70’s and beyond. Sometimes though, Plaster is the product used, and that usually occurs in homes from the 60’s and prior to that decade. An additional product was plaster over drywall that was common in the 50’s and 60’s as plaster products were giving way to all drywall products. Most of these surfaces can be repaired with existing drywall technology in use today. The difficulty in repair is often removing the old damage and figuring out a way to install the new wall or ceiling material to ‘set up’ the repair for completion.
